Smart phones

I'm more than happy with my iphone 3GS, had it 9 months and I have no complaints. Unfortunately, like everything, it's definitely a case of 'horses for courses' The Blackberry has features I'd like on the iphone, and others that it doesn't. Some of the apps are better for Blackberry, whereas others are better for the iphone. 12MP camera doesn't really bother me, I have a couple of proper camera's for photo's and the iphone's camera (although weaker in comparrison) can still take great pics if used properly

ye pays yer money..............blah blah... takes yer choice..........

i've had a N97, and it's a very good phone, once updated, it runs fast and is very responsive, the OVI store isn't quite as full as iTunes, but still well worth the £379 one new costs,

on other news, if your looking at samsung, don't buy a GT-m8910 (pixon 12) absolute pile of crap. camera's good i'll admit, but it crashes alot, doesn't like too do anything while on charge, and the memory is tiny.

I think it's a toss-up between the X10 (or Mini - which reviews better than it's bigger brother) or the iPhone4..

BIG plus on the iPhone is that I can get it on a 12month contract..... and the 4 has a 5mp camera so just as good as my N95 which is quite capable if not a little laggy with regard to taking pics.

Never had a touch screen phone before - could be interesting (although, Wife and kids have Tocco Lite's and I don't mind them at all)..

i have the satio, camera was the main point for me, and it is awesome.......though thats the only good point.

i have owned mine within the first hour of it being released back in october or november i think it was, and its slowly getting worse for reliability.

mine now freezes around a dozen times per day at work, mainly when its plugged into a charger.

if its plugged in, dont touch it as it will freeze up.

if it isnt charging or plugged into something, its usually fine, if a tad slow at times.

The iPhone 4 has a few quirks

Firstly, you need to hold it in a specific manner or you lose your connection due to the aerial placement..

Then the rear facing camera has issues

Screen discolouration problems also reported

I'm not an Apple hater BTW, I have an iPod & A Mac Mini.

My smart phone is a Nokia E71, it works well, no problems with it apart from the damn network it's on (Three)

I adore my Iphone 4, yes it has its haters, especially about the holding in a certian way issues but I wouldnt be without it, everything I need on the move and I'm always finding new fun things to do with it and improve the whole user experience.

im an avid nokia user an wouldnt really touch anything else but i have swapped my (not as good as) nokia for a vivaz
now it was swapped so i have lost out on nothing
the mrs has a vivaz for a while now and i quite liked it althogh ive been a touch screen hater, its not too bad, aswell it runs on nokia software which is my 'thing'
so that got hacked and updated and runs nice an smooth
i dont hate the i phone as such, just think its overhyped

surely nokias software is good if sony ericsson are hiring it out?!
and i can make mine run most things other phones will
ram is 256mb on mine i believe :D

people with sony ericsson problems, have you tried an update?
the bugs get ironed out quite often

Vivaz was never really in the running, Satio was but not any more..

If I go SE, it'll probably be X10 but. . . . for the same money and half the contract term - iPhone4 . . . dun dun duuuuuun . . . .
