Got M900 crank arms very cheap a while back and polished them up, never had the chainrings that looked the part until now

This outer XTR chainring makes me smile even though it’s seen some wear, looks so much better

Cook cranks if they were affordable; the same goes to Cunningham rollercam brakes. Suntour front derrailleurs and pedals. Campagnolo MTB cranks and canti brakes. Hugi hubs. And tools.... i love bicycle tools. I take as much pleasure riding and working on my bike.

Suntour thumbies and Royce bottom brackets.
The thumbies are just more pleasing to my eye than Shimano ones and feel more positive, although I'll admit that maybe confirmation bias
Royce BBs are like bicycle jewellery.

High end BBs are for top end fetishists: an exclusive beautifully machined bike part that only the owner will ever see. Hats off.

Lots of things but especially the little snap stickers I replaced when I resprayed my old kona…
As a lad who bought a £200 kona with the same cranks and set post it wears now to ride to work, the boys in the workshop used to joke about putting stickers on like they had all across the back of their shot box escorts and nova sr…
One day our Snappie who was a good friend gives me these little ones to call their bluff! We lost him to cancer a long time ago but that bike even if painted again will wear them stickers as it makes me smile and thankful for what I learnt from him and how many times he did me favours to help a young guy develop skills and a toolkit.

Wish I could find sensibly priced ones of these for some on an orange I bought , not done any distance yet but they seem on a par with original onza ules for comfort love them!
