Silverfish 1993 Team Fat Chance Yo Eddy

Small update tonight
Fitted some of John’s new pedals
Some used Ritchey Megabite Z Max 2.35 tyres
And a NOS Crud Claw in turquoise
Not sure if that will stay on the build or not - I bloody hated those things BITD 🤣

Right amount of skinwall showing now and proper fat tyres suit the FAT (pun intended) 🤣 IMG_1338.webp IMG_1339.webp IMG_1341.webp IMG_1342.webp IMG_1344.webp IMG_1345.webp

Fork is back from Dan 👍
Very slightly lengthened - we only added a few mm.
But more importantly the join has been lowered so you can run the full length Ringle quill.
He also included a replacement stem wedge so I can fully slam the stem if I want.
But it works without it so I’m well pleased with it.
Pretty sure I have all the bits so should be able to finish this one now… att.l_v2wVrJdI4ro3dbD_HaHCqWNWENwYxtTRYVWuGHMFk.webp att.Pn_NsA_03rRVuZfkvPro_1GMW6uAhx3fVQPhxLgqvwI.webp att.XY--0yWwVvHkcWUgYBy276Y-X0pCER_rNDPzBtfn5F8.webp att.rcJYQp6SGyb4oefw2bLGgcXevyVXNjDjBy-wQFZBzXw.webp

These days i like builds that are a mish mash of parts that look strange but work beautifully together. Shimano rear shifting, dt swiss hubs, steel stems, titanium bars, suntour or campagnolo cranksets, suntour thumbies, suntour canti brakes. syncros posts and Avocet 02 saddles. NIce lightweight rims and fat tires.

Dan IS the man! 👌😎

I have a pair of forks needing his attention, no way as posh as your segmented Fat Chance ones though!

I totally agree with that opinion.
