I dunno. I've had my fingers burnt before and am kinda reluctant to do it all again.

If someone pms me a delivery address, I will do a box of useable goodies. It will be quite large and all of it will be good stuff.

What part is still true? That the customers are loony or he is?

Customers or maybe silverclaws - we haven't seen him yet. He might be a wearer of fish.

We all have our problems. Some feel able to air it on a public forum. some dont. Old SC hasn't exactly endeared himself to anyone so don't expect too much in the way of sympathy.

Sometimes you can act with extreme generosity (e.g. Fixing my rear mechs) and other times with extreme idiocy. Maybe that's what goes with the tag of Drama Queen.

I didn't get the opinion he was after sympathy, but at the same time he didn't deserve antipathy.

Some people on the site may talk openly about their medical problems, while others have talked openly about their problems with such issues as unemployment - what's the difference?

I'm just being devils advocat. Quite a few of the longer serving members have seen it before. Just because it hasn't happened during your time here. this place hasn't always been sweetness and light. And PM'ing stuff is the cowardly way out - I'm all for calling you a bunch of **** to your LCD screens if you've upset someone or done something daft.

As for 'him' - the site really has been nearly all sweetness and light since he went.

Now back to the fiish wearer (or not) if you posted what you did. Lucky for you it was on the most friendly site going. Even mumsnet couldn't come this close to. Retrobike manhugs.

I've been burnt by plenty of people in the past, over all manner of things, but I'm a trusting person so it's hard to be anything different.
Report the theft to the police!

I'm really saddened to hear this Silverclaws. Sure you may go on a bit, caught up in the minutiae of things and perhaps missing the bigger picture, but I've always empathised with the termoil you've expressed.
Can anyone genuinely dislike someone simply for the way they present themselves? Find them a bit annoying at worst maybe, but anything stronger is pretty shallow surely.
Anyone who has really had difficulties in life, and I might sound like grandad-in-the-trenches here, but I mean really struggled at times, all that's gonna matter are the solid qualities of a person; honesty, loyalty, balls, compassion etc. ..I reckon SC is clearly an ok, and pretty moral bloke at heart. I've certainly found the fella likeable.

My thanks to all who have been decent, the thief returned my bike to me unmolested this afternoon, I understand because I had posted far and wide on the social networking sites, someone heard about it and well the thief I understand is very apologetic, but because I had set the authorities in motion, they are very interested and I understand are going to be having a chat despite the fact I have my property back as this character is not just into petty theft.

But interesting what happened, I got linked to the thieve's FB page and past convictions that had made the news, so when the police did come, well it was all there for them they even gave me a lift to the place where my bike had been deposited.

But as to my performance on here, last night I was pretty raw, a sort of raw that scared people locally, but I realise my disproportionate reactions to what really is a petty theft is cause for concern and this latest episode has indicated to me I need to seek some help, but one r/l friend last night hit the nail on the head, it is true, I am just scared, scared of everything.

As to AS, yeah I go on about it, because it is still new to me and I seek others to with similar to watch how they interact, how they get on in the hope i can learn to be better, but i understand it is a popular diagnosis to label kids with these days, so really, it is no mocking matter, unless it is your wish to condemn children along with the late diagnosed.

But I have to spend less time online, that is for sure.

But I do understand, what goes around comes around and what we sow we will reap, but once words written on the internet, it is there for evermore, so we all must be careful of what we say, for it can come back to haunt us and it may be when it does, we will not understand our misfortune, but I was always taught, that if I could not say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

As to quitting this site, i wrote what I did then went looking for the quit button, but found there wasn't any, others must have also done that at some point to say just don't log back in.
