What he said.

Reckon a set of those are going on the shopping list along with a Thomson stem.

I've just fitted a re-re Flite red label to a shiney USE post with nice new black ano hardware and it looks rather spangly.

I'll start a build thread for the bike tomorrow, when I've had a chance to take some photos of the frame. 8)

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. 8)

Re:

OK. So a got a bit bored last night and started building the bike up.

I've used the parts off my Cube LTD (Mostly) and intend to go with a retro mod look.

I reckon I certainly need a silver bar, but not SO sure about the stem now. :? Maybe black would look as good/better- just don't know.

I've ordered some cheap On One bars so I can see what they look like before I spend any real money so I'll wait and see.

Best start a thread for the bike I guess. :D

What about Control tech?

Their TiMania bars and stem.... For the discerning gentleman cyclist.

Black works OK with the colourway of the frame and wheels. Bit if you go polished, Ritchey Classic works for me 8)

Enjoy!!

It is the 10D model, I am a convert of all things "alt bar". The Ritchey is the lowest sweep option, but works well on a few of my bikes. It is neutral with respect to stem length and has a long front centre feel, stretched out compared with say the Jones or Ragley Carnegie's.

Cables left to do, but here you go

Re:

It is very nice, and the Ritchey kit does have a real retro vibe going on compared to most modern stuff.

I think I may have found THE stem at least. I might have to try a pair of flat bars (I have some EA70s) and see how they feel.
