This is the Marin Stem I will be parting with in September (once I fit the refurbished Fisher item that came with the bike on my next visit to my house where it is stored) - its 1" quil and a useful 100-110mm reach with a decent rise compared to most from the era. being 1" and genuine Marin badge production item it must have been of a late 80s bike

Are you after any seat post in 27.0? I have a new one that isn't retro, bought for a Kona I had planned to build, I've trial fitted it but decided to go black so it's surplus. It's double clamp bolt style.

Ideally something branded.... But nothing stupidly expensive. Been looking along the lines of original marin, ritchey or kalloy uno
