Silly priced Mercian

I 'won' this via a fairly keen BIN 4 or 5 years ago as I wanted the components for another build and the frame for general pouncing about. Despite immediate payment, the seller refused to let me have it and suggested that I was unrealistic in expecting to get it for the price listed.

Fast forward to 2014 and it's still available. I wonder why.

And it's now available for just £1999!!

I still think £1000 tops.

History above suggests won't actually sell it at the price it fetches! Size plus paint job makes for a very small market,

£200 for a Mercian respray, and you have a nice bike, although I would swap some parts so it's got one make / model groupset, not three!!

Bargain really for a bike of that quality. £10 says the new owner gets it resprayed!!

Almost exactly 1/4 of original "price" - and indeed pretty much a bargain (if one thinks that Mercs ever worth the hyped up values they seem to fetch!).

Got to wonder if the highest bidder will ever take actual possession of it....
