Silly cheap now! Only £300

Mmm...like your thinking. Have been looking at the exotic forks...full carbon ones but they are a little dear. Not sure I will get 700c wheels in that frame

Re:

from what i can find, the axle to crown (A2C) distance of your forks when fully extended is about 470mm. allowing for 25mm sag, that gives 445mm required for a rigid fork for maintaining headtube angle/bike geometry. if the frame was happy with a set of 120mm forks instead of 100mm, then you'd be at 465, nearly 470! bolt a pair on that fame and go 1x10 and i bet it'd be as light as a light thing :D

Re:

Carl,

They do a non tapered version of the OO fork which would fit better AtoC wise.

Scarily light and full carbon.

I ran one for a while on my (now gone) Beone that was suspension corrected for 100mm max:

The above build was a touch under 18lbs with the tyres in the pic fitted.

Regarding the 700c/29er wheels if my old Kona with naff all clearance could run a 35mm cross tyre I am sure your would :?
