SID fork - air trapped or something

I’ve got a set of SID Dual air c3 in black which initially wouldn’t move and were completely stiff without any air in them.

Firstly it was suggested it could be corrosion between the bushing and stanction but today they do move a little bit (20-30mm) before going fork again.

It almost feels like air is in the wrong place. Any pointers?

It's more likely to be hydraulic lock. Fluid gets into where it shouldn't and prevents travel. I've had this on a set of forks, seal replacement and of course fluid drain and refill may solve the problem.
