Show us your Specialized

For looks, the 93 but it's too small to ride. The M2 rides nicely with its rigid forks for tarmac and smooth tracks but the M4 with discs and Fox forks is a beast off road and fits me really nicely.
Anyone want to swap a 20 inch Tange frame for a 16 incher?

My '92 Stumpjumper steel.

Custom made Ritchey Fork. Scott AT-3 cut bars, Control Tech Stem, 987 Brakes, Suntour XP Pr cranks.

Bought it second hand in a pawn shop in mid 1996 for $200.xx CDN. It was completely stock at that time.

Have had a ton of adventures on her, commuted on her for years.

Still have it.

Shots taken on a camping trip back in May 2004.

Specialized M2 Team Edition (Metal Matrix Composite) One of the most rewarding refurbs I ever did - some lucky blighter got it of me on ebay - as I had to put it up for sale after finishing it because the pandemic hit and work pay got effected for over a year. Would have been a lovely one to keep as it was like new again once it came back and I fitted the stickers again. The idea was to rebuild it as close as possible to the team spec. bikes - to include Suntour running gear and the Zoom stem that the team bikes ran due to the various sponsors they had back int the day. Legendary Specialized that rode great even the rigid alloy fork suited it a treat. Another ex-bike of mine missed. Someone hung it on the wall down in the West Country I believe - he must have been over the moon with it when the box arrived - I would have been 1753375321793.webp 1753375334729.webp 1753375352670.webp 1753375370862.webp 1753375390234.webp 1753375402107.webp
