All your bikes are awesome. I think MTB's look cool with slick tyres. Like tough little racing bikes

My Team Marin wearing Marathon Racer's. Pretty quick and lots of grip (on road)

Coventry Eagle Ghost with Marathon Plus's. You can leave the puncture repair kit at home with these tyres . A bit heavy though.

I use slickish tyres because they're faster on road, and most places I ride off road are hard packed dirt/gravel.
