Show us your Proflex........

New around these parts. Here's my 1994 Proflex 854.

Because I'm new around here, I'm not sure if it merits a thread. Also, it's already built, so it wouldn't really be a build thread :)

Anyway, this is how it stood on Sunday afternoon after two entire weekends and lots of post-office evenings working on it. There's some minor changes coming in the next few days because I don't know when to stop.

I actually did this on my lunch break on Thursday, so like 12 hours after I wrote that.

I actually liked the Fire Mud Pros that were on it; it didn't look wrong at all IMO. But the reason I had those was because they are available in 1.8, which I wanted because they'd give a little less friction. Turned out that's not really good at all for reducing friction at all (they're mud tyres, duh), and if I'm going to have that sort of drag I might as well have it coming from an amber-wall Smoke & Dart. It also gained Girvin decals on the fork, and genuine Sugino threaded caps on the chainset.

That's it! I'm really done forever now! (this is not what is going to actually happen)
