Forgot to post this here. 1990 Alpine Xross DX I recently acquired. I have some 700c Megabites to fit and a higher rise stem. Will probably re-tape the bar too.

Picked this up last sunday in almost oem spec, just tires and grips had been replaced.
Seatpost was cut short, stem a bit rusty and the bar had lots of scratches. Replaced those and added a flite for comfort and looks. The answer alumilite gives the perfect amount of rise to make it a comfortable ride.
And not to forget the grips are a perfect colour match with the decals!
