OK, I have a few scars, mostly from being silly on bikes, but heres a thread to show off your war wounds and freak people out a little.

This could develop into a NSFW type thread but I'll start it off in clean taste.

Caused by slipping off a pedal and getting 8 teeth of my outer chain ring stuck into my leg. Did it in march this year, I like it as it looks like a zipper, I have been pondering how to build a bike with a drive on the left side in order to get a matching one on my other leg

I have many..bit through my lip, elbow cut open too the bone, 2 on the back of my right upper arm, knees, scarred too death, i'll take a few pics when i get home

haven't got any pics but i can't grow hair on a bit of my chin because of a bike and cattlegrid sideways moment, and there may be a scar behind my ear where my brother hit me with a golfclub when i was 10. nearly tore my ear off.

oh and the b******d threw darts at me once and one of them stuck in my head!

I've got a nice scar under my chin where it connected with the road. Bone visible and 20 odd stitches to sort it out

Got stabbed with a ski pole in the leg which is my best one, it's faded to white now though as it's so old.

12 1/2" thanks to a heart bypass in July.
I rode my bike for the first time in 6 months , on Saturday!

All my pics are from being sliced and diced, none of the resulting scars..

And nothing at all from cycling.. few from motorbike crash, 1 from a dogs dew claw and the one on me knuckle where I slipped with me chopper hacking up a deer carcass for the dogs..

I have one that starts from below my ribs on my left side all the way up to my armpit. Friends and I had been swimming at the Pool in Fort William a looong time ago. When I was getting changed afterwards I lost my balance putting on my kecks, put my hand out to stop myself falling over. Unfortunately there were just curtains/screens between cubicles and I fell over on the the basket with my clothes in which had a large metal hoop to carry it with a square metal tag on top of hoop. The sharp corner of this tag dug in under my ribs then tore a line up to my armpit. Result, blood everywhere and vociferous swearing. It smarted a bit. :cry:

The Frankenstein one on my left shoulder is from an over the bars crash on a MX bike in 75 shattering the clavicle in 10 pieces. The diagonal one on the right is from sliding off a raised off ramp on some coolant @ 130 kmh then endoing in the ditch on a RZ 350 in 99 snapping the clavicle and scapula. The vertical one crossing that scar is from crashing while trying to ride my bicycle home at 3am drunk while carrying a full pitcher of beer and completely dislocating my shoulder in 90 (saved the beer, BTW). I have so many more I forget how I got half of them. Wrist surgeries (4 breaks), 150 stitches in the arm from punching someone on the other side of a reinforced glass door in a bar fight. There's a 2"x1"x1/4" deep piece missing from my shin, and I can't for the life of me remember how I did it.

the 'angle grinder' incident:

the small scar is where they found the tendons. I was told I was lucky as they could have pinged back up as far as the elbow.
