Or a screaming BDA!

I had a Cosworth.
I swapped a D reg GTi for it. It belonged to a mate who lived in
Tooting and insurance was ridiculous. I joking offered to swap my GTi for it and I was really shocked when he agreed! I didn't put a lot of miles on it though, it's possibly ten years old in that pic and the body is still pretty much perfect. I am reminded of it every time I put my hand in the pocket of my leather, I have the remains of the valves from when it dropped one.

Got a few motors, Merc Vito for moving stuff , Rav 4 for fun in the snow, A6 Quattro estate for long journeys and an Audi TT Quattro S Line, augmented by Audi Sport CH to 313 bhp, for when I just have to get somewhere quick.

Nice fleet!

Haven't had anything sporty since my wife jettisoned her Beemer.

(Mind you the S-Max can manage quite well with a full load, I had three German friends hammering across the Highlands to make a meeting at a distillery, and they could not believe how it shifted.)

Had a Vito of the older variety, lovely size of van and handles beautifully.

Our two main cars are Pajeros. In three years total bills for service/repair is less than 2k. That is what both cost too! They will get over just about anything you could still see the road in.

:)
