1992 S-Works Cross frame+fork

This is a very rare one, never seen one outside of S-Works 1992 catalog: https://www.ebay.com/itm/274296151436 Pretty steep price for a vintage 700C frame though... :shock:

I couldn't find a thread for early 700C off road frames, so I created one. Let me know if I missed it.

At some point after the frame was first built the rear brake mounts were moved up the seat stays. Forks were built for 700c which leads me to believe that this was a custom conversion done to order at the shop. It's a very clean job but you can just see the traces of the original mount points. Frame geometry matches exactly with several other 18'' Pioneers I've compared it to.

Overbury's Pioneer 29er

In preparation for the bikes arrival today I thought I'd get a thread started, bought this hybrid from a Bristol auction house for £212 including shipping the other week. The frame matches up geometrically almost exactly with the Pioneer, despite the wheel size I see this as an off road bike...
