XO looks sexy but its Conference league V's Premiership in the shifting and reliability stakes. Doesn't come close and lasts nowhere near as long.

I'm going against the XTR flow and gonna say that this is the best looking MTB mech. Shimano ever made..

Have to say that the Ol' Deore II [not DX] was a great looking mech with the corrugated decal, anyone got a short cage one?

Exage Trail was nice too, the gunmetal grey.. I remember striving for an Exage Trail equipped bike when all I could afford was Country

I'm going to say something contentious here, but I really love the old Exage.
I know it isn't the same quality as anything else here, but I just thought it looked lovely, was really tough and worked very well. I have a lot of them.

i always loved the xt, although being a snob i always bought xtr.
the XT is the best allaround rear mech(price, weight,quality etc), but yours is the sexiest xt I've ever seen
