Closest to full purple was the other version of this one that was purple except for orange dropouts. The 94 maroon is nice too.

Try have a look I never knew there were so many colours any good places for info I am starting to lean a lot more to oranges mine is so smooth corners like it's on rails probably the best bike I rode ok I haven't rode loads especially top end ones

Recently completed a full strip and sympathetic clean up of the frame and touch ins …doesn’t get any easier than satin black.
Just crank caps on after another try out.
Few additions, orange hot rods ,Stalk decals, Onzas, flite, inner cables, chain, crank, big ring , tiogas and home brew booster.
Pretty certain this has done the rounds on here…

Another more recent completion….just awaiting a final adjustment of gears , brakes etc. Bought as a bare 92/3 frame.
Not entirely convinced about the front end, non original forks which are light but unknown maker. Seller claimed they were Roberts ?
Marin type roller stem, Hot rod 2s which all feels a bit cramped. See how it rides.

Looks really nice with all black lx but like you said the forks just don't look right I like the stem is it an original stalk or a Marin with stalk stickers

Thanks Baron von greenback. The front end is a bit of a bodge to be fair ….
The forks were all I could find at the time and I had to butcher the stem to fit as the steerer tube narrows about half way. So rather than ruin an original and to get the height, I decided on the Marin type and some of Gils finest.

No mate I like it keep the stem and see i f you can get a set of orange forks with square top or it would look nice with a set of manitous on or pace the early ones
