Hey Barry
That's a nice Old Town. A bit too similar to my own but great price sure.
I see another nice make in the back of it, or is there something new on the horizon?
I am cleaning up my Old Town for the spring and Gil did me some new decals a couple of weeks back.
I like my kayak but prefer the Canadian as its what I have always known. I only started kayaking when I moved to Oban from Aus, I suppose that was nearly 15 years ago
I picked my canoe up not long after I arrived, it was within about 8 months, once I new I was staying. Used to keep it at work and paddle a lot more than now.
I also had my girlfriends fathers P&H fibreglass K1, its what I learnt on in the sea Tippy is not the word It was a quick learning curve.
@ Rob. There has been a fair bit of stuff going on in the garden but no archaeological digs yet!
I'll not be doing Forth Fat this year. If I can manage it I'll be at POP on the Saturday. Once I'm fit again I'd be happy to take you out to the subs anytime you fancy Clubby, and any other MacRetro fattys. Bruce doesn't have sole user rights!
Yeah Jamie. There is another canoe in the background. I bought the Old Town s/h to see if I liked canoeing and now I've decided I do I bought a new Nova Craft. Saturday would have been it's maiden voyage. Hopefully fit enough again soon.
I did the final ride today with the Blue Pig before I decommission 'her' a 15 mile loop which was brilliant, good under wheel, temperature was cool, the sun and birds were out
