I've had several of the steel "Joe Murray" Konas. 2 x Fire Mountains , a Cinder Cone and a Lavadome. All rigid with P2 fork.
They are fast and lightweight. Really nice to ride natural xc . They were good bikes but I'm not sure of the current models , they look a bit cheap.

I've got a few top end steel Kona's and I've got to agree with you but I much prefer the pre '00' models.

Bit more footering with the Koa. Dug out cranks and brakes from parts box and BB installed. Got a nice Kore stem from DynaTi that I'll need to try out but currently wearing one nicked from the Voodoo.

Frame has some big paint chips. Anybody know a cheap touch up for Kona burnt orange?

Aye - stem here and looking good thanks Tried to persuade Mrsthefish she'd suit sparkly orange nail varnish but she wasn't having it.

hopefully the Rafty frame should be posted on Monday, so that will be one more, the RC300 hanging up I'm hoarding parts for now, so that will bring me up to four, and lets not be forgetting about the first Alves which is currently down in Glasgow to have a freshen up.....

i can't hold a candle to most on here, but it's a start!
