What era you thinking about Si? I highly rate my 06 deluxe. Nicely welded up like a Fat. Rides like only a quality steel frame can. Geometry and position quite different to my 13 year older Fat so difficult to compare in that sense. About the only drawback I can think of is lack of tyre clearance.

is it supposed to have a 100mm(?) fork on it and the top tubes too short
or the seat angles wrong

I'm thinking late model or a new Ti Delux Guv. An IF is one of the few itches left to scratch. I also find that I don't have a fast, light XC bike on the fleet after the cull. I'm thinking rigid forks and probably SS or 8/9 speed.

Have to agree that the Ti above doesn't quite look right with those forks. It could be the angle the pic was taken at though??

Sounds like a good plan to me...my IF is not rolling yet, and certainly is not retro other than in spirit + a bit of ancient anodising ...but this is collectively replacing my now extinct DeKerf SSpd / crashed damaged IF deluxe / ... and fractured :cry: FAT ti (#013)

The peppermint Ti one is local to me does look better in the flesh, the chap also owns a geared version and a ssr too.

Not sure that they compare to Fat Chance other than the obvious lineage, much better to think of them in their own right. But the decals are rubbish.

The Deluxe SS is the bike I reach for most often and very nice frames indeed but, for me, they are overpriced. Would love a Club Racer though.
