Shipping vintage tires

I'm going to be selling a pair of Fisher FatTrax tires with a wire bead and need some shipping advice. I'm shipping from the US to Canada and want the package as small as possible to save shipping costs. I've heard of the figure 8 fold but how exactly is it done, do you twist the tire in half once? I'm just concerned the bead will break!

It's not a figure of eight, you need 3 loops to avoid mangling the bead.

I have sent them like that also sent round in a flat ish box

Thanks for the vid link, I'll check it out after work.

I'm trying to avoid shipping them in a 28x28" flat box because of shipping costs. I also have to add a full xc pro groupset in the box (minus the pedals) so I'll have to use my imagination!
