Can anyone tell me which chain was ran with the Deore XT II group back in 1990?
And if anyone has one, preferably NOS, i would be keen to make a purchase.

Also, if they are hard to find, can anyone suggest a good replacement for the era?

Many thanks,

Drew :)

PS. ALSO WANTED - SYNCROS TI Flat Bars or equivalent e.g. Litespeed, Merlin, McMahon, etc.

dont bother - first thing I used to do was throw away shimano chains - unreliable. Get a sedis (think they are called sachs these days).

More out of touch than I thought - knew it began with an s though.

Everyone BITD ran silver Sedis Chains on XT as the assembly pins on Shimano chains weren't as reliable as they are now.

They're getting bloody hard to find thesedays. SRAM chains aren't quite the same as Sedis. (Made in far east instead of france).
