A while ago, a friend of mine found an almost complete roadbike (only the wheels were missing) on a pile of trash waiting to be picked up. He took the bike home with him and is looking to build it back up and get everything in working order. While I was over at his house yesterday I noticed it had an interesting looking stem with a built in computer. Unfortunately, it doesn't work because the screen has turned black (you know how that happens with digital screens when they recieve an impact or w/e). I thought I'd ask here if it's anything special because I have never seen one before, and he almost gave it away to some guy.
I don't have a name or a picture but I guess I'll recognize it if one of you guys have one, or I can ask my mate to take a picture for you.
So is it special or would it be a piece of garbage even if the screen did work?
