Shimano HG Vs IG Chains

Am seeking a HG90 Chain for XT build but have found an IG90...I know this doesn't seem to warrant any kind of pickyness but wondered what the difference was? Just bought a M737 Chainset with IG Rings, so may want to spec with IG Chain?...

I think the M737 is a bit later than 94 & perhaps chainrings were changed over from HG to IG?...

The HG and IG cogs and chainrings use different ramps and such. I'm not sure how the chains differ, but you'd probably want to stick with the one that matches your drivetrain.
