Was that the bloke with the twin rotor three pad XT brake set up? Always sounded like a great bit of thinking, but they turned out to be too powerful

I know the one you mean, ... the one I met was Dave Culinann during the WC in Les Gets in 2000. He was soso happy about these brakes : too uncontrolable according to him, so hardly rideable for a bike compared to a motorcycle.
