Click to show automatic bids and you can see what happened. Someone posted a high limit, and some else poked higher. If they were all one or zero feedback bidders I might think shill, but this is collusion if it is anything, and I don't think it is anything.

Seeing as the last set last week sold for more I would say it's the unlucky bidders making damn sure they don't miss another set and that no one emails the seller and does a deal off ebay!

it's cool, I think we know straight away as we were really really watching them and super keen to get them but were knocked out at the early stage when the price rose so high!

I made the mistake of selling my old road bike on a private listing. The bidders could not see the identity / feedback score of other bidders. Was accused of shill bidding by one of the losing bidders. Lesson learnt. Still got a very good price for it which was more than I expected.
