Shifter cable routing for 97 LTS STT...

Anybody have any tips for routing the shifter cables on a GT LTS (carbon fiber, internal cables). I am about to drill large enough holes (3/16") to install standard cable housings. Any high speed tips are appreciated before I whip out the milwaukee.
