Shallow drops for quill stem

Hoping someone could offer a bit of advice about bars. I'm after some shallow drops to fit a 25.4mm quill stem but most modern bars seem to be for oversized stem diameters. Its also a bit of a minefield finding suitable older bars as its hard finding specs that list diameter and drop depth. I've currently get some sakae road champion bars i recently bought from the forum which look great but the drops are too deep. Is there a standard way to measure drop depth?
If anyone has any ideas of suitable new or old bars that would be great. if needs be i could probably get another quill stem with a different diameter.

3t forma randonneur are shallow. Also try any woman specific bar.

The last one on this list says "shallow rise"..... look pretty normal to my eye though.

Thanks for the replies, sadly I've previously had a bad experience with Hilary Stone so I've been avoiding buying from him. I searched for the 3T bars and in doing so found these http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/HB3 ... _handlebar listed as a compact ergo drop and down to £9.99 so surely worth a go.
Now to find a 26mm stem...

Hmm, what went wrong with Hilary Stone?

I'm looking for a stem and quite like nitto, the anodsing is like a pint of milk LOL. I looked on a site which I think is called hubjub and also velo something.

Pity I was sober or I would have bought the Nitto from hubjub........I think that's what it's called? just off for a look.

Thanks for the link, that Nitto stuff looks very nice but it is pricey though..!
Bit of a long story with Hilary Stone. Not going into too much detail I bought a part which was in poor condition and once I had returned it had to wait weeks and send many emails before I got refunded. Guess I was maybe just unlucky as other people have had better experience buying from him. Shame as he has some hard to find stuff.

Sorry the bars didn't work out. I've discovered today that I have another pair of Road Champions, but the "England" ones. These have a bit of a randonneur bend to the tops and seem pretty shallow drop to me. What kind of drop are you after? Could measure from the tops to the bottom of the drop (I don't know if there is a conventional way of measuring drop).

Cheers Nick, not your fault at all - the drop depth wasn't something I had considered. I seem to have unusually short arms for my height!
I'm probably going to go for the 3T bars I linked to because they are on such a cheap offer at the moment. If they don't work out I'll bear in mind your other road champions as the randonneur bends should be a shallower drop.
