Serious question now......uk mtb museum

Re:

Agree with last 2 posts. Its gonna take a huge investment and a forward thinking planning dept to make it work properly. I hope its not too far away from me and had some natural riding trails, water etc. Im gettin on a bit to be hammering down RedBull runs. Something that creates lots of long term jobs for centre workers and surrounding economy and has all weather family facilities like Centerparcs.

Instead of rooting it in one place how about a large ‘pop up’ style museum. It could follow events or feature at any number of trail centres with no permanent rates/bills to worry about to keep costs down, plus it only needs to be manned when it’s in an active state. Modern idea for old bikes.

Double decker bus style.......I like that.....with mobile workshop...

Maybe, as well as some core historically important models, you could have an "on loan" display where bikes from RB members could be show cased including retromods and specials that maybe aren't catalogue correct pieces of manufacturers history but more in keeping with the hobby of arsing about on and with bikes?
It might also help with keeping the content fresh... (no one likes going back to see exactly the same old stuff)
