Seperate for sale thread for complete bikes??

Don't know if anybody has suggested this already but noticed that the road section has had this for a while now and I for one think its a good idea, anyone else agree, disagree?

I think it's a good idea......it will go some way to tidy up the conveyer belt that is the fs thread too!......

yes and would probably put a stop to the annoying "im intrested in the frame if you split" type post

I disagree, as quite often, a full bike sale becomes a split / parts sale

I'm not fussed either way, but it could end up increasing the normal thread, as if full bikes don't sell, the split will need to be listed I'm a different thread. People could also look to cover both bases and list in both. I'm all for tidying up the fs thread, but maybe archiving unreplied to, or inactive posts after a set time would help, as the reference to old prices is not that relevant after a while, a year at most (and as there is a conveyer of parts and bikes listed, it kind of manages itself).

Probably only because I am looking for a frame just now and it's harder to do if you have to sift through all the other stuff. Not sure if three separate threads would be more work for the mods or not, but there are always people willing to help if that were the case.

Good idea! The for sale section in it's current format is just too congested. Add an embargo on no cross-posting while we are at it please.

Could we also had a nearest Town in location as a pre-requisite of using the sales please?
