last years tip find Coventry Eagle

1950's with only the brake levers left over from the original spec.

Rubbed down and out of focus for a quick respray just to tidy it up.

How it arrived:

and here it is in a nice blue colour.

will do the lug lining - its the law with fancy lugs.

Still made out of bits but it will gain a nice saddle and some gold or brown bar tape.

looking at how close the rear wheel is to the seat tube, this should be a fairly quick frame. I was more than a bit surprised at how light the frame was when all the crap was stripped off. Plain gauge 531?

Its staying 5 or 6spd, maybe 'modern' indexed with flat pedals and mudguards but definitely looking better than it did.
