Selling a Tandem frame.

To big to ship . To good to scrap . To good to make a bird table with .
Local jumble proved a bust
Anyone got any ideas.
Thinking a bike charity but there are none near me .

Could try the Tandem Club. Explain it's collection only. They are a national organisation.

Stop press just found a local project that might be interested .
To advertise on the tandem club website you have to be a member.
Ours has long since lapsed.
I would like it to do some good for a community group.
It's not complete.
It needs wheels ,chains, gear and brake levers .
Otherwise it is pretty much all there .
There are loads on ebay and very few are selling as with the rest of the used bike market. Totally pants!!!

I have already contacted the Defence rehabilitation centre and the local sight impaired school .
Both only take new certified machines.

Oy ve, have the same issue here, been offered a unique, one-off tandem for restoration, will take up a ton of real estate in the shop and actually getting it here will require a truck. But it's cool.....

Same here. Two to get rid of, ZERO interest. One day when I'm in the right (wrong) mood, they will be getting chopped up & put in the scrap bin.
