seatpost vs clamp size

It would depend on the wall thickness of the seat tube I reckon .

Yup- tube OD on my Bullit is 34.9mm, seatpost is 28.6mm.........thick stuff!
I reckon there will be a general correlation with most bikes, but gauranteed not to apply to whatever bike you are trying to fit

This is doing my nut in.. such simple things giving me proper brain-ache..

Why would a 31.8 front mech clamp fit round (nice and snug) yet a 31.8 seatclamp would need hammering on..

Next size up is 34.8 from looking at CRC. . . that's a big ol' jump.. (and I don't have a 34.8 yet). . .

Going to sling the fame in the back of the truck and take it for the lbs to check out instead of riding it there.. causing me too much grief to find out if it's scrap.

i have a 34 so mabe there is another size in between again?
lbs should be able to sort you out
