Seatpost - 400mm by 26.8 (or under) for my Lava Dome

anything considered, the cheaper the better - can be as scuffed as you like, don't mind. I can shim it up if under 26.8.

Ed, not sure what era your Kona is but the one I had (mod 90s I think) took a 27.0 post.

cheers - tried a 27.0 just to be sure and it's too big! My Orange seatpost which I know is 26.8 fits just fine but it's too short.

the frame must be a hahana as that was the only model which used that size seat post!

my 96 lava dome also takes a 26.8,

I think another thread went through this. I'm pretty confident a 1991 Lava Dome is 26.8 and the 1992 is 26.4.

It's highly likely that differant tubing was used (at least for the seat tube) as in 1991 it had an integral seatpost clamp while by 1992 this had been dropped for a seperate wrap-around style clamp.
