seat clamp shim

Out on Sunday pm and had trouble with the seat slipping out of position (the seat clamp itself, not the seatpost/frame clamp) :shock:

I presume there no problem in fitting an appropriately home made shim to acheive posterior security :?:

I use a coke can shim on my commuter. Been on there 9 months or so with no problems and I have a very bumpy ride to work.
