Not the end of the matter by any means, and next time we will take a good chunk from those NO voters who fell for Wesminster's schtick.
Don't hold your breath. Remember the SNP only got this far due to their majority at Holyrood which is by no means assured again. If Labour get back then it'll be off the table. Plus our population is ageing which as was shown benefits the Union. The longer we hold it off the older the population is and the less oil we have left. Without the oil argument they'll have to go back to the drawing board. If they can't persuade us in an age of cuts, oil and a majority SNP executive...

God help Westminster if they return a Tory UKIP marriage at the next election!
I can only hope this has whetted the English appetite for an EU referendum. We'll get to do it all again and I'd wager we'd see independence for the UK. :)

Can't help thinking it'll be the same result as the Scottish one if they did - the Yes campaign would choke in the final few throes of the voting as people realise UKIP are a one trick pony and their headline grabbing BS is exactly that. And common sense would then prevail...

 IDE vote to leave eu, fk erm joined for common market and free trade that's what I thought , tho I was sat eating my tea by the light of a candle due to no power in early 70s  not for Germans and French to set our laws, we went to war to stop that shite!

Would a majority EU referendum "no" vote also lead to the leader of the party favouring a "yes" vote standing down in similar circumstances to Salmond? One can only hope (just think, Nige - at least you'll have bags of free time left for going down the pub).
