Scott Unishock spares???

Does anyone know where i might get sum spares, a long shot i know, but am only really after the black squidgy rebound elastomer things. The thing is, on one side in my unishocks, they have melted????? and partly on the otherside, i could probably bodge them from something else

On a slightly different note, does anyone know of a place that does elastomer rubber so i might be able to sculpt replacements if i cant get spares???

First port of call for your elastomers is SLIM on here apparantly

If you want some very good advice or maybe someone to look at modifying them i would certainly recomend JOHNYRETRO a very cool chap

Alll of these old elastomer/spring forks are simple to work on and parts should not be difficult to find or relace with something similar..

If it's only the rebound rubber you can easily sculpt something as you put it, but do them both the same.

I remember magazine articles advising on how to tune elastomers by making them conical in shape :shock:

I thought I was the only one who had a set of these. Mine did the same thing years ago but I managed to find some rubber 'O' ring washers in a local hardware store and popped those on instead – think theres 6 or 7 on each side. Not what scott specified in their plans I'm sure, but this approach seems to work OK for me.

I have been looking along those lines, on ebay and googling, i might be able to use car bushes, but thanks for your info
