I'm 100% certain (which at my age means about 70% certain) that Scorpion was Paul Donohue's foray into custom ti MTB frames circa 1995.
The recessed seat pin bolt is typical of a custom frame builder. Paul also had a very skilled TIG welder working for him back then which would explain the neat welding on the frame.
I remember seeing a small press release in one of the MTB mags BITD about the launch of the Scorpion brand but I've never seen one on the trails.
If this frame is from the Donohue workshop (and I think it is) then it's a rare, well made, British retrobike (don't tell the vendor that though
).
