Saracen Conquest with damage

Can you do pix of the seatstay brace and also advise on the serial number Paul?

Is that's what's left of a once black Tioga Avenger headset too?

Neill, I don't think the headset was an Avenger, although not sure, but it's binned now anyway, was a bit mashed. Bottom bracket is stuck too, and one pedal is ceased on, grateful for knowledge to get them off! Will get the serial no. tomorrow as in the shed now. Cheers

I no longer think this is a '92, i'm starting to think you may have found what I've been looking for for the last 10 years....a '91 Conquest (or perhaps a '91 Kili)

Bottle bosses in wrong place, '92s were on the chainstay to downtube brace, on the '91 they foolishly put them on the downtube itself making getting a bottle out a pain in the ass.

Did they do a square tube Kili I thought it was only the conquest that was square ?

It's embarrassing to own up to this, but most people (including me) know I'm a sad MoFo.....in my head I remember seeing in the 1991 catalogue (yes that hallowed piece of paper that holds so many answers to so many questions....that I think I chucked out several years before joining here....) the blue and yellow Kili and it was square tubed.....i'm sure (95 ish %), this fact has been troubling me ever since

This has raised the 'drive up to Coventry Library and scan' task up my list of things to do (even sadder   )

You don't mean the alloy one with blue/yellow graphics (conquest I thought) that is pictured on this site somewhere? bet there is someone on here in that area who could go and get that scan, have you tried the parts collection thread, of maybe make a brand new thread?

Nope....the '91 Kili had a French Blue frame and yellow Tange forks (like the forks on your Traverse Comp)

I've emailed the library and am going up there once they confirm they still have the cats on file
