Saracen Boffs question!

Good evening all,

Would anyone know what the 1993 Saracen Race Elite Gruppo was from factory?

Had a look through the brochures and search but not found an answer. Would appear people who own them (google search) have all put XT on or other nice groupsets.

From what I remember it was made cheaper in 1993 by sticking Altus A20 on it..... A real come down from deore LX and thumbies.

Yeah, wasn't the Race Elite just a run out model using up old frames after they moved away from e-stay? Saying that, it'll be the same frame as one of the 92's so no reason you can't build it better?

Reckon it's just the Kili Racer frame so that's the direction I'd go.

Interesting that you see loads of the red boggo frames but very rarely the True Temper or Ultra ones?

Anyway, might have a suitable donor 92 Saracen of you only have the frame and are interested.
