I'd been looking for a grey anodised SL (with V-studs!) for quite a while. Aquired this one a few weeks back, built like this...



I fancied trying a 1x10 set-up and (surprise, surprise, for me!) I wanted lightweight as well :)

Now built up as below...







Spec:

Frame: Santa Cruz Superlight - 2066g (bare frame) + 295g (shock and bushes)
Fork: DT Swiss XCR 100 RLC - 1159g

Headset: Chris King No-threadset - 91g + 14g (crown race)
Top-Cap: Hope top cap and bolt - 8+3g
Stem: Syntace F99 (inc ti bolts) - 101g + Spacers (12g)
Handlebar: Easton CT2 Riser - 175g
Grips: Ritchey Foam - 24g

Brakes: Hope Race X2 - 214+252g (inc. adaptor, hoses and levers)

I really like the look of these. There is one on ebay that I'm trying to stop myself from bidding on.
 
Nice indeed, I'd ditch the red ring for black, spacer above stem must go and so must the hateful ritchey grips.

And get some finishing caps for the fence posts. ;)

Running Podium MMX rims is a weight concession to far for me - even in if was light enough to use them.

77kg maximum weight and a maximum mileage :shock:

A DT Swiss Nudie shock would look good and drop a few more grams :cool:
