Salsa A La Carte

just watched this till the end, to see how much it went for, and nearly spat out my coffee (if i had drunk some that is) was about 150 quid with a couple of mins to go. any one here get it then???

Yeah, be interested to know if it was someone on here who won it. Had a reasonable snipe loaded but I wasn't really even at the races on that one...

Well I spoke to the owner on the phone about two hours ago and he claimed he was going to keep it! I wonder if there are now 771 reasons to change his mind...

I was watching this but since it had few or no no original parts and looks to have been repainted I couldn't see any value in owning it other than it was allegedly JMC's frame once.... :?

i was tempted to stick a couple of hundred down........almost kicked myself when it was down to the last minute........when it shot up i sighed with relief!

wow not seen that happen for a while - I had a minor heart attack when I saw 771 flash up - thought I'd had finger trouble putting in my measly bid.

Whoever got it increased their bid by over 470 ish quid in about 1 minute - they must have really wanted it - or bid up and off the market by a mate.

Er, surely that would be the value right there. Clearly it'd be a big punt for any prospective owner though, however think we've seen people put down more money on stuff with a similar lack of history.

Even more interesting was that it went to a buyer with no big track history in bike auctions over the past 30 days, more into Vans and Pickups.
