Hi all, I recently agreed a deal for some parts which I have yet to recieve.

Sat 10/03: agreed deal and transferred funds.
Fri. 16/03: received pm apologising for delay and promising despatch on Tues 20/03
Sun. 25/03 I sent a pm asking whether the goods had been despatched. I have yet to receive a reply to that pm. (Though it has been read.)

Clearly, a simple reply saying yes or no would have been courteous but at what stage should I ask for a refund?

I paid through PayPal and opted to pay the fees myself.

If the seller is reading this and feels I am being unfair, that is not my intention but I would like to know where my goods are, and if there is a problem then a pm help.

I'm usually chilled out when it comes to waiting for goods but it cheeses me off big time when I've sent a PM that requires a response and the person reads it but doesn't get back. Bad form, especially in this case.

Unless its a shop there's not much you can do. I only have saturdays to psot now so it can be a while before stuff gets posted.

Comms is the key though and a good back story similar to whyy you didn't do your homework....

PayPal will not consider doing anything if you sent as a "gift". If you didn't, and you have exhausted yourself trying to get a response from the seller open a case in PayPal and there is a chance you will get refunded.

paypal tend to favour the buyer these days. as you daid you opted to pay the fees then i assume you did a normal transaction.

paypal will contact the seller and ask for proof of postage. it they give it then you wont get a refund. if they dont then you will.

Has the person in question been posting anywhere else since you last PM'd them, and it was read? You can check by clicking the "profile" button at the bottom of any post of theirs, then "find all posts by ****"

If they have been active in other parts of the website, but ignoring your PM's then I would give them fair warning (PM this thread maybe), then only get embroiled in a name and shame as the last resort.

If it were me, I would (tempting as it is to blow the lid and vent frustration) try and keep it civil for as long as possible

Hope it gets sorted
G
