I used this setup on an ebike without bosses for a while and it worked very well.
The bracket mounts to the rails on the back of your saddle, triathlon style.
There is some rubbing on both corners of the cages, but it is just cosmetic.
The bracket is made by Minoura and the cages are Cube.
