I wonder who will be building these. Can't imagine that a bike built by someone who hasn't lifted a welding torch in twenty years and positively avoided the cycle industry all that time will be any cop.
The industry has moved on, a lot, and if they are just going to replicate the old bikes then why not just buy an old bike which actually has had Chris' hand on it. If they are going to make a modern suspension and disc ready bike then why not buy it from someone who know how to make them through experience built up over the last 20 years.
I get the feeling this will end up as Chris' name attached to someone else's frames or, even worse, on some mass produced Taiwanese plastic bike.
The Fatcogs thread stinks of low rent marketing BS with new members seeding it with fake interest despite being the actual people behind the enterprise. I fear that that low rent marketing will be reflective of the whole thing.
Some things are best left dead, good memories are far nicer.
