I think it's pretty good . I was thinking of doing it to mine but was put off by the cost of the whole project - wheels , brakes , fork on top of the framework . I'd rather put the cash into a (more...) modern bike . If i had it , of course .Does this belong to anyone on here? I’m not against dragging older bikes into the 21st century but surely a more modern frame would be cheaper than an original Hei Hei and better suited to disc brakes through proper design of the stays.![]()

In 2010 a rear disc brake tab was professionally attached (she pics). The disc brake works perfectly. Manitou R7 forks 26", both disk and cantilevers compatible (it needs a full service). Shimano XT disc brakes (less than 10 rides).www.ebay.co.uk
