Royal mail standard parcels...how long ?

Do they take ? A frame was sent to me last Wed.......nothing as yet :cry: should I be worrying, seller did not send recorded either which surprised me.

I have known standard parcels take 10 working days to get to the destination. the norm for me seems to be 2 - 3 days for small stuff, medium sized is usually 5 ish but something as big as a frame takes longer.

You can send first class recorded up to 20kg.

I was quoted 3 weeks upwards for STD Parcels before a few times.. Made sense to go for 1st for the extra 4*p...

Always found the 48hr service a reasonably priced option, has decent compensation terms as well

I sent some brakes out the other day; ist class recorded was £7.90 with £40 insurance coverage, but Special Delivery was £9.05 with £500 insurance coverage! I had no idea the PO could be so generous.
It didn't arrive by 12.00 the next day though. Never does.

Could be because its next day by 13.00 hrs

If it doesn't arrive by one, you can claim and get the postage cost back
