Rock shox service help

Hi all, I'm trying to take the lowers off my 96 Judy XCs but don't seem to be able to. The service manual says that after removing the 6mm bolts from the bottom of the legs they should slide off, but they don't! I've tried pulling as hard as I can and they're not budging, any ideas anyone?

Cheers,

Dave

Leave the allen bolts in the bottom of the legs a couple of turns then a tap with a hammer(on the allen bolts) will release the shafts from the lowers.

You guys are the best! I got in there and then realised I need to fit the part from the top. At least I've managed to completely disassemble the forks now, I think I'll give them a complete overhaul on friday, I don't want to risk not having them for my commute in the morning!

On a related note, is there anywhere i can get replacement springs for old judys? 97 i think.

Postage on springs from america seems very expensive.

There's a shop down the road from me that had 2 pairs of springs, I bought one pair and put them in my 96 XCs, the other pair are still there. They charged me a fiver for my pair, not sure what model they're for but they work a treat. If you want me to pick up the others and post them to you I can do.
