Thanks. The Dogs Bollox stood out as prime even then when it debuted.Sweet, I remember these well.
Nice Mountain Cycle on there. They had it going on with their bikes.
Klein were ultra rare and you would be lucky to find a dealer in the UK anywhere due to the time that it took to get one and their cost!!!Thanks. The Dogs Bollox stood out as prime even then when it debuted.
Not a single mention of Klien back then in my world though.
Just down the road, UK up north, from me was a Klein, Kona, Rocky Mountain and Orange dealer at this time (and a bit before).Klein were ultra rare and you would be lucky to find a dealer in the UK anywhere due to the time that it took to get one and their cost!!!
But so were Roberts and I only ever remember seeing one or two.
My mate loved the Dogs Bollox and he was always going on about it.
I still have some of those mags although of course they now have loads of pages/cut outs missing thanks to my arts & crafts attempts to look cool. The MBUK Works bike features were great and Justin's D.O.G.S B.O.L.X. was my favourite.
Does anyone know how long the feature ran for? It would be cool if there was a complete list with photos.
There are a few that someone kindly posted here - https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/old-mbuk-follow-up-works-bikes.377353/
Alas my old MBUKs were thrown out many years ago.![]()
